Who I am

Melanie Drucker is a muralist, interior designer, and interactive artist. She received her education in fine arts and fashion from the School of Visual Arts and Parsons School of Design.

Melanie’s talent runs a large and varied scale. As asuccessful fashion designer her garments were sold throughout the country in stores such as Bloomingdales and Saks Fifth Avenue, inaddition to being featured in catalogs for J. Crew and Victoria's Secret. She left the fashion industry to pursue a career in painting and interactive art. Her commissioned works range from murals for children and other decorative wall effects to multiple murals painted in the entire wings of hospitals. Her latest commission consisted of 15 murals spanning 200 square feet at the Veterans Hospital in Castle Point, NY (Examples can be viewed on this website).

As a result of Melanie’s artistic background, she has a way of engaging her clients, encouraging them to be directly a part of the process, from helping generate ideas to assisting her in the execution of the work.
